As a designer, knowing how to make rapid prototypes is incredibly important. Being able to quickly visualize your ideas in 3d is as important as anything. Converting these files to make them 3d printable and then actually having them in hand can be the difference between a deal or not. So I learned how to use Rhino and Keyshot, a modeling and rendering program respectively, that go hand in hand. These are some of my models and renders. scroll down and check them out. Then using 3D printers to give clients a tangible product can be all the difference.
